Consultations, advisory votes, elections
Four different things, which must never be confused.
Open consultation
An opinion gathered from the network's participants. It commits no one. Results are those of the participants, not of the population.
Network advisory vote
A vote organised here, one account, one support per proposal. It has no legal value. It can be distorted: multiple accounts, pressure, unequal access. The supports displayed on this site are of this nature.
Official election
Governed by the electoral code, organised by the State. This site organises none and announces no results.
Official referendum
Provided for by the Constitution (article 11 in particular). See the institutional routes for thresholds and limits.
Limits of online voting. Identity theft, coercion, unequal access to digital tools, difficulty guaranteeing the secrecy of the vote. These limits are why this site's supports are never presented as an election result. Offline alternatives (drop-in sessions, printed documents) remain necessary so as not to exclude anyone.
